Start with the shift you need covered

This opens the request form with what you chose already filled in. You can change any of it there, and a person reads what you send.

What happens after you send

The same three steps as everywhere on QuickPath

  1. Publish requirements or availability. Send the shift through the request form. A QuickPath team member reads it and replies by email if anything is missing.
  2. Registry and work eligibility checks. WeBrij administrators check each licence on the regulator's public register and record the date.
  3. Connect and hire directly. Post the shift yourself in QuickPath and review the licensed professionals who apply, each with a date-stamped licence record. You contact the professionals directly, interview, hire and employ them. QuickPath does not stand between you.

We do not promise a response time yet.

What you get

A CV scatters the three facts that decide a shift. A profile collects them. How it works, step by step.

  • A nurse in green scrubs holds a tablet against her chest, a stethoscope around her neck.

Licence records, with the date of every check

The body that issued the licence, the registration number where the role carries one, and the date a WeBrij administrator checked it on the public register, alongside work eligibility status. Not a badge with the word trusted on it.

    Where QuickPath stops
  • A nurse in green scrubs puts on a headset at a desk with a laptop.

    Availability written as real shifts

Nights, weekends, the dates a person can actually work. A paragraph about being flexible answers nothing at half past five in the morning.

  • A nurse in a mask walks down a bright white hospital corridor carrying a tablet.

    The city they work from

The city the professional works from, so you can judge who can reach an overnight start without reading a CV to work it out.

QuickPath or a traditional agency

Four QuickPath facts first. The card under them compares process and nothing else: ask any agency you use the same questions and compare their answers with ours.

  • Who employsYou do.
  • FeesFree for employers while QuickPath launches. Healthcare workers never pay.
  • ChecksDate-stamped checks of the public register by WeBrij administrators.
  • CommunicationDirectly with the professionals who apply.

Not yet checkedChecked on the regulator's public registerwith the date it was checked

The outcomes are not yet checked; checked and current; current with conditions; expired; and could not confirm. The date is the day a WeBrij administrator checked the licence against the regulator's own public register. Where QuickPath stops sets out exactly what that check can and cannot tell you.

Questions employers ask

Written for QuickPath as it is today. Where the honest answer is that there is nothing to promise yet, that is the answer.

What does it cost?

Nothing while QuickPath launches. If that ever changes you are told in writing first, and healthcare workers never pay.

How fast do you reply?

A person reads every request. We do not promise a response time yet. When one is committed to, it will be written here. For a shift inside 48 hours, say so in the first line.

Who employs the worker?

You do, under your own contracts and payroll. QuickPath does not employ the professional and does not stand between you.

What do you check?

The licence, on the regulator's own public register, with the date a WeBrij administrator looked it up, and the work eligibility status. It does not replace your references, interviews or criminal record checks.

Which settings?

Hospitals and acute care, long-term care, senior living and assisted housing, community health clinics and urgent primary care, and home care.

Which areas do you cover?

Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, North and West Vancouver, and New Westminster. We are starting there and have not opened elsewhere yet.
