What an Emergency Medical Responder needs to join

  • Your EMALB licence number and level, if you hold one.
  • Photos of your licence or certificate and your ID, from your phone. You can add them after you join.
  • Proof you can work in Canada, added privately to your profile.
  • The days and shifts you can work.
  • An email you check: the sign-in code goes there, and there is no password.

To join you need only your name, email, city, role and when you can work. Everything on this list can wait.

How an Emergency Medical Responder licence is checked today

Today we check licences on BC regulators' public registers.

Who licenses it in BC

Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board (EMALB)

Emergency Medical Responder is a licence level issued by the Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board, a provincial board rather than a college. The board confirms on request whether a licence is in good standing; there is no public search.

There is no BC public register to search for this role, so your profile says so plainly and the employer checks your certificate with you.
